In the University of Phoenix Material Summarizing and Paraphrasing a Source Activity Part 1: Summarizing Review the accompanying entry and sum up it in the container just as you were remembering this data for an exploration paper. Utilize the reference to make a fitting APA-arranged in-text reference. Forceful driving is described by the propensity to see driving as an opposition instead of as a methods for getting starting with one spot then onto the next. Albeit most drivers are substance to move alongside the progression of traffic, forceful drivers weave from path to path, looking for any preferred position that will put them in front of others. Forceful drivers are likewise bound to rear end and blare the horn with an end goal to threaten different drivers or essentially to move them along quicker. When defied with overwhelming traffic, forceful drivers frequently take part in hazardous conduct, for example, passing on the right, utilizing utility or turn paths as driving paths, and disregarding traffic signals. Section 2: Paraphrasing and Quoting Review the accompanying entry and rework it in the accompanying box. Utilize the reference to make a proper APA-organized in-text reference. Furthermore, incorporate one direct citation. One of the most significant aptitudes an understudy can create is center. Center is the capacity to focus on one thing for an all-inclusive timeframe, closing out everything else. The individual who is engaged experiences no difficulty with schoolwork; her brain is on the undertaking until it is done. The engaged individual experiences no difficulty concentrating during a test. She doesn't see the voice of the speaker in a contiguous homeroom, the tapping pencil of the understudy two columns over, or her instructor’s squeaking seat. Individuals vary broadly in their capacity to focus. Some appear to be equipped for laser like spotlight on any activity until it is finished. Others are handily occupied, hopping up from schoolwork to do a hundred little, yet out of nowhere earnest, assignments as the schoolwork gets drove further out of spotlight. Like some other aptitude, the capacity to center can be learned and fortified through training. To improve your capacity to think, start by setting up a set time and spot to consider. On the off chance that conceivable, learn simultaneously and in a similar spot each day. Setting up a standard gives study the significance it merits and helps make examining a propensity. At that point, to keep yourself on task, set a little clock as you start contemplating. Start by setting the clock to go off following 15 minutes. Until the clock goes off, give considering your complete consideration. On the off chance that your psyche wandersâ€and it willâ€pull it back to the undertaking. At that point reward yourself with something little: 5 minutes of solitaire on your PC or an excursion to the fridge for a glass of frosted tea. Time your prize, tooâ€about 5 minutes ought to be adequate. At that point set the clock for an additional 15 minutes. As focus turns into a propensity, that propensity will overflow into the homeroom, as well. You will be better ready to concentrate on your instructor’s words or on the test you are taking. On the off chance that incidental clamors during a test despite everything occupy you, put resources into a couple of earplugs to close out commotion as you step through your examination. The capacity to think is an important aptitude. Luckily, it is an aptitude that can be improved with exertion. Reference Arlov, P. (2007). Scribe: A manual for school composing (third ed. ). Upper Saddle River, NY: Prentice Hall. Reword and Quotation Focusing is an expertise that can be learned by rehearsing. Understudies can roll out specific improvements in their considering propensities so as to make this conceivable. This should be possible from multiple points of view like utilizing clocks and setting time spans to achieve any undertaking close by. Another method of getting your brain in to this propensity is by compensating you time went through on concentrating with breaks, yet these must be kept short so center won't be lost in different methods of interruptions. Everybody is diverse so every individual that experiences difficulty centering must become familiar with their own sort of style of centering that works from them. One method of knowing whether centering is an issue for an understudy is on the off chance that they are effortlessly diverted by commotion or action around them while attempting to study or step through examinations. Some of the time clamor interruptions can be fixed by utilizing a commotion blocking gadget, for example, earplugs. The best path is to keep a daily schedule set up to examination and do schoolwork same time and same spot inevitably. As expressed by P. Arlov in Wordsmith: A manual for school composing; â€Å"One of the most important aptitudes an understudy can create is focus† (third ed. , 2007). This is one of the most significant aptitudes to accomplishment of an undergrad to learn in light of the fact that this ability can move over to having the option to learn more in a study hall setting, and have the option to get more data while the educator is talking. Personal Reflection

Helping the individuals who can’t help themselves is a brilliantly fulfilling, baffling, satisfying, yet in addition depleting experience. The conditions encompassing the circumstance can make it upsetting, however justified, despite all the trouble once you’ve contacted someone’s life. In this article I will be offering to you the various sorts of vulnerable individuals just as offer my assessments and thoughts regarding the subject of aiding those out of luck. There’s no feeling like the sentiment of helping somebody that isn't fit for helping themselves. The conditions encompassing the circumstance can be a great deal to deal with. For example, when dealing with a kid you are committed to screen all their developments on the grounds that a youngster can without much of a stretch move into harm’s way. The structure of a youngster is normally sensitive and delicate so it is critical to mull over that. Regardless of whether the youngster is playing in a wilderness rec center or just going around injury is consistently a chance. A child’s adolescence fights to ruin their faculties so it is dependent upon the overseer to utilize their progressively reasonable perspective to compensate for that. Kids are extremely inquisitive and courageous creatures and it tends to be said that â€Å"curiosity slaughtered the feline. † Often kids don't think about the potential repercussions of their uninhibited activities. It is an adult’s obligation to administer kids in the best possible way to keep them from settling on unsafe or even hazardous choices. Accommodating a youngster is additionally a key factor in appropriate turn of events. Accommodating a youngster incorporates however isn't restricted to appropriate sustenance, a rooftop over his head, and dress. Kids need to have great conviction that all is good in their lives which will bring about them feeling increasingly positive about themselves as they become more seasoned. An infant not being taken care of resembles a cow with no milk, which means the infant won't work effectively. Seeing that youngsters are unequipped for accommodating themselves, the overseer is liable for taking care of the kid regardless of whether it expects them to scrape up closes meet. While feeding a kid the guardian must give the youngster a significant measure of food to energize sound physical development. Legitimate dress is fundamental. A kid ought to have the correct sort of apparel for a specific atmosphere or condition. In spite of the fact that it might be regarded as shallow, youngsters should have apparel that is elegant. Kids can be very unfeeling. No child needs to be singled out in light of the fact that their clothing needs quality. A grown-up should realize how to shield a youngster from those encounters on the grounds that there is a point in time when a kid doesn't know about specific parts of life. On the off chance that anybody is going to deal with a youngster they would do well to ensure their establishment is sound condition since I envision it is hard to bring a kid up in a threatening spot. Such a significant number of children are compelled to experience childhood in an unpleasant neighborhood or house hold and it’s not reasonable for them since they have no influence over the circumstance. I for one accept that there are an excessive number of young ladies that are unfit to be moms yet they’re having babies left and right. The legislature should meet and intently review a portion of these young ladies that are having infants to perceive what they’re lives resemble and where there maternal development is before they permit them to deal with a child. I feel because of that over the long haul it will spare these children’s lives regarding having a generally sheltered and sound childhood. Observe that I’m not inferring that every young lady shouldn’t have the option to raise their own children since they basically have the privilege as well yet then again you can’t deny the way that there is such a large number of youthful females getting pregnant that effectively live in terrible conditions so for what reason would anyone need to bring a kid up in those equivalent conditions. Helping the destitute is another significant issue that never appears to leave. I feel everyone in this world ought to have a rooftop over their heads and no one ought to be compelled to rest outside particularly with all the specialized advances we have today. The legislature should assemble a framework that’s ensures everyone has an equivalent chance to work and have a genuine spot to consider home regardless of what the conditions. Obviously we as a whole realize that many individuals bring these circumstances upon themselves yet everyone merits an opportunity to in that spot wrongs. Now and then every one of the an individual needs is another opportunity to recover financially and I don’t feel enough vagrants are getting that opportunity throughout everyday life. On the off chance that the administration made a program that got all the vagrants off these avenues, tidied them up, and gave them drop enough paying employments I feel it would have a constructive outcome on our networks. It’s simple to take a gander at a vagrant sitting in the city or any place you may discover one and pass moment udgment on them however realize one genuinely comprehends what that people experienced that got them to that point yet individuals despite everything cast them out of normal society. These individuals living pampered lives in suburbia with no budgetary concerns ought to be contributing towards getting these vagrants off the avenues yet lamentably it’s uncommon to locate a rich individual with that mindset to make a special effort to help the less blessed. Giving a vagrant a couple of dollars is anything but difficult to do. It might be a decent signal yet in all actuality it’s truly not going to take him/her excessively far or get them out of the circumstance there in. The people group needs to accomplish more to roll out greater improvements occur however everything begins with the people that truly need the compensating sentiment of sparing another people life. Finally, another gathering of individuals that could utilize some assistance is the older. While a lot of the older are equipped for helping themselves, there are likewise the individuals who are unfit. They are tormented with conditions that shield them from having the option to do certain things. I understand that a high level of our more youthful age don't assume of the older in the light that they should. This is by all accounts somewhat normal in today’s society. Now and again the old aren’t fit for doing certain exercises so I feel that each older individual ought to be sans given life help. That kind of help ought not be confined exclusively to a retirement home. It ought to be for each old individual that can no longer perform regular errands. In the event that I were in the correct situation of intensity I would make a program that permits the old to contact an assistance where they would have a free enrollment to get transportation when required, staple conveyance, in home exercise based recuperation and free implicit security framework. Every old individuals have the right to have it simple in the wake of suffering such a hard, long excursion called life, and for their commitments to society. These are a few plans to help the old and demonstrate our appreciation for their lives. Ideally my feelings and considerations on aiding those in need have started a motivation for you to stretch out some assistance to our general public. The more empathy and care we show to the individuals around us, the better society we become all in all.

Consider the theme of transformation in Metamorphosis and The Yellow Wallpaper. Apart from the very apparent theme of transformation that runs through both stories there are also many underlying themes connected with transformation, not just physical but also mental. Metamorphosis sees Gregor wake up one morning physically transformed overnight into a huge insect, by the description given by Kafka, possibly similar in appearance to a cockroach, although the description given does not allow the reader to make any definite identification. He has been the breadwinner of the family, working as a travelling salesman to keep a roof over the heads of his mother, father and younger sister. This is a service that he has got no thanks or†¦show more content†¦It’s such a long time since he’s eaten anything.† (Kafka 2005) Unlike Gregor the protagonist in The Yellow Wallpaper does have some control over her destiny as she demonstrates. Gilman writes her story as a demonstration of the effects of gender inequality, and the male patriarchal hold over women. The narrator slowly slips into a deeper psychosis the more time she spends alone in the room, however in her studies of the text Catherine Golden questions whether her transformation is simply a sign of her increasingly hallucinatory state or a larger awareness of the limitations of her patriarchal world. This is a very interesting question and one that has many possible answers. The text itself is open to many interpretations and has been received by critics in several different ways. The wallpaper itself morphs gradually the more time the narrator spends looking at it. At first just dim shapes are seen behind the pattern the narrator tells us that â€Å"The dim shapes get clearer every day. It is always the same shape only very numerous. And it is like a woman stooping down and creeping about behind that pattern.† (Gilman 1998) The theme of imprisonment is apparent from the first mention of something behind the pattern as the narrator tells us that â€Å"the faint figure behind seemed to shake the pattern, just as if she wanted to get out.† (Gilman 1998) The feeling of beingShow MoreRelatedFemale Oppression By Emily Dickinson And Charlotte Perkins Gilman1729 Words   |  7 PagesThroughout the history of American Literature there has been a common theme of male oppression. The restaurants are located along the Bay. A lot of new restaurants are coming up nowadays like Hubert, Yellow, No. 1 Bent Street, The Paddington, Missy French(Lee ,Sardeshmukh and Hallak 2016). Each of the restaurants specializes in different types of foods. A lot of restaurant specializes in multi cusine food(Batra et al. 2013). The restaurants besides serving high quality food also take care of service and hospitality. There is great variety of food prepared by professional chiefs. Most of the restaurants are located along the Bay(Owens and Baqir 2014). A great view of the Sydney harbor can be obtained from the restaurants. This feature attracts a lot of tourists and vistors in the restaurants. The top restaurants like Rockpool, Circular Quay and Bennelong receive a lot of customers because of the location(Lee Sardeshmukh and Hallak 2016). These restaurants form one of the major sources of income in Sydney. A lot of people are employed in this industry .The new generation of the country is attracted towards this business. The students also take up subjects of hotel management and hospitality management to get employment in this industry. The industry has been making rapid growth in the current days(Williams 2014). The restaurants nowadays have adopted modern technology for its customers. New mobile app has been developed that helps to order food online. This has helped in the growth of both IT business and restaurant business(Owens and Baqir 2014). The setting up of restaurant business is easy in the city of Sydney. A few steps need to be followed to set up a small restaurant business in the city(Morrison, J.H., Bell, G. and Lee, A., 2013). One needs to find a proper location, made arrange for the required equipments and get necessary permissions to open restaurant businesss in the city. The growth of the business has helped in the employment of the larger section of the society thereby helping in economic development(Robertson 2016.). Variables and hypotheses: The variables involved in the research study are the number of restaurants in the city, number of people employed in the restaurants, prices of foods in such restaurants, number of customers in the restaurants. The variables like prices of foods in the restaurants determine the number of customers in the restaurant. Therefore, in this assignment, number of customers in the restaurants is taken as dependent variable and prices of foods as independent variable. The number of restaurant and number of people employed in the restaurant depends on number of people in the restaurant. The hypothesis involved in the study is as follows: H01: The restaurant business in the Sydney city has not made any change. H11: The restaurant business in the Sydney city has made a change. Operational definition and measurements: The problem in this research work is to determine the changes brought about in the restaurant business in the city of Sydney in the current year and the impact of such changes in the economy of the country. The changes brought about in the restaurant business are measured in terms of operating income or profit generated by the restaurants. A comparative study of few years figures will determine the changes brought about in the industry. The prices of foods are calculated in Australian Dollars. The number of peoples employed in the restaurants will be obtained from the owners or workers in the restaurants. The data is collected with the help of questionnaire. Research methodology and design: The research is carried out with the help of primary data. The primary data will be collected from various restaurants of the city. The data is collected with the help of research questionaire. The questionaire is to be given to the people employed in the restaurants. The restaurants in the city can be classified into two types- the restaurants that has been operating for long time like Rockpool bar and new coming restaurants like Hubert, Bolomo . There is a lot of restaurant in city. Restaurant in different parts of the city should be evenly covered. For this purpose, the entire city can be divided into several clusters according to regions and data can be collected from those clusters. In case of this research study, no constraints are being involved. The data collected will be analyzed with the help of various descriptive statistics measures such as measures of central tendency and measures of dispersion. Regression analysis will help to estimate the dependence among the variables . A time series analysis will help to forecast the future values of the business. Methodology: Data collection: The data collected for the purpose of the research work is primary data. The data about prices of food, number of people working in the restaurants and cafes, number of customers per day in the restaurants, the average profit in the restaurant are available with the help of the questionaire. The city contains a number of restaurants. All the restaurants in the city should be evenly covered. For this purpose the city should be divided into different clusters according to region. The data will be collected with the help of cluster sampling. The regions represent the first stage cluster units and the restaurants in the regions second stage cluster units. This method of data collection is less time consuming and less costly. A better coverage could be achieved with the help of this method of data collection. Data analysis: The data so collected can be analyzed with the help of various data collection methods. The methods of descriptive statistics like the central tendency and dispersion methods can be used to determine the changes brought about in the restaurant and caf business. The differences in the average value and median value will indicate the changes brought about in the current periods. Regression analysis can be done to determine the dependence of various factors among themselves. A linear regression can be fitted by taking prices of food as independent variable and number of customers as dependent variable. A significant value of the regression coefficient will indicate that the prices of food determine the customers. On the other hand a value equivalent to zero will indicate the price of food has no effect on the number of customers. The number of people employed is dependent on number of customers. A separate regression line can be fitted for that. The prospect of the business can be measu red with the help of profit or operating income. A time series analysis of the figures of profit will determine the growth of the business. The future values of the business can be forecasted with the help of time series analysis of the profit figures. Conclusion: In this assignment, the growth of restaurant business in Sydney is being studied. An outline idea about the methods of data collection and analysis of the data is gien in this assignment. The possible interpretation of the results of the analysis is also given in the assignment. This assignment will help the people of the country and concerned authorities to take a deeper look into the restaurant business and take necessary steps to improve the condition of the business. This is one of the leading businesses in the city and employs a lot of people. Improvement of the business will form a major source of income in the city and thereby improving the condition of the economy. Referrences Alonso, A.D. and Krajsic, V., 2014.
